Sluban missing pieces service
Last week, we received our first missing piece request for a Sluban set, submitted by our customer Mark C. As we hadn’t yet tested Sluban’s parts service, we were keen to hear how the process worked from Mark's perspective. A seasoned model builder, Mark initially contacted Sluban via their European website to request two missing pieces. However, they directed him back to us. We then reached out to our wholesaler in Ireland, who quickly sent the required parts—which then arrived with Mark in less than 5 working days, although there was no tracking. Overall this is good news, as it means Sluban spare parts are fulfilled from Ireland, rather than shipping from China like CaDA. A much quicker and smoother experience all round!
Sounds like Mark is even happier with his Sluban KA-52S helicopter model now he has been able to finish attaching the weapons pylons - see his latest photos below. Thanks for the follow-up photos and feedback, Mark.
COBI Updates
I'm sorry to say the Nighthawks did not arrive this week as planned. Our order, which also included the new 1:48 Tiger Ausf. E., ground to a halt in Germany for five days for an unknown reason. The tracking has updated and we've spoken to the delivery company who said it has arrived in the UK but isn't scheduled for delivery until Monday. Sorry for the delay, and thank you for your patience.
New COBI order on the way!
The Flying Scotsman kits plus the new 1:48 Tiger 131s shipped from Poland earlier this week, so fingers crossed there won't be any delays with this order - we will keep you posted.
This week COBI announced some new modern aircraft models due for release over the next couple of months, see below for details.

I have to say a big thank you to James for sorting out the missing pieces for my Sluban Ka-52. It ended up being so slick and smooth that I’d definitely consider buying Sluban again. It is a remarkably impressive model too.
The new Top Gun Maverick sets rock by the way. :)
