History.
The Subaru Impreza WRC 2003 was a rally car developed by Subaru for the 2003 season of the World Rally Championship. Based on the Impreza road car, it featured a distinctive wide-body design, improved aerodynamics and advanced suspension for demanding rally stages. Powered by a turbocharged 2.0-litre flat-four boxer engine, the car delivered impressive power and reliability across gravel, tarmac and snow surfaces. The symmetrical all-wheel drive system provided exceptional traction, helping drivers maintain control in difficult conditions. Driven by Petter Solberg and team-mate Tommi Mäkinen, the Impreza WRC 2003 played a key role in Subaru’s success that season. Solberg went on to win the 2003 World Rally Championship drivers’ title, cementing the car’s place in rally history.
