History
The StuG IV tank destroyer was a vital asset for the German army during the period of 1943 to 1945. Developed based on the highly acclaimed Panzer IV medium battle tank, the StuG IV served as a valuable addition to the diminishing arsenal of German armoured weaponry. It gained a reputation as an effective tank killer, particularly on the Eastern Front. With a crew of four, it was predominantly assigned to infantry divisions. A total of approximately 1,140 units of this vehicle were produced.
