History.
The DRB Class 52 steam locomotive, a pivotal wartime locomotive, was developed by Germany during World War II. Semaphore signals, essential for railway safety and communication, used pivoted arms or blades to convey information to train engineers. Originating in the 19th century, they were widely used during the era of steam locomotives like the Class 52.
