History.

This year it will be the 85th anniversary of the Battle of Britain and the 100th anniversary of the Air Force Academy in Dęblin. In August 2025, a unique flight of the Hawker Hurricane (No. 302 Sqn. RAF) will be taking place, when this plane will fly from Duxford to Dęblin. COBI is supporting this event with this 1:32 scale 375 piece set. 

The Hawker Hurricane of No.302 (Polish) Squadron RAF played a vital role during the Battle of Britain, marking a significant chapter in aviation history. Formed in July 1940, the squadron was composed of Polish pilots who had escaped occupied Europe. Operating from RAF Duxford, they flew Hurricanes in fierce defence of British skies. Despite early language barriers, their skill and determination made a remarkable impact. No.302 Squadron’s bravery and success continue to be remembered as a symbol of international cooperation and resilience during one of Britain’s darkest hours.
