History
The StuG III (Sturmgeschütz III) was a German tank destroyer used in WWII. Based on the chassis of the PzKpfw III tank, this assault vehicle was equipped with a massive superstructure with a 75mm gun. The StuG III's purpose was to support infantry and combat enemy targets such as barricades and armoured vehicles.
The Flammpanzer was similar to the StuG III. However, it was adapted to conduct fire operations using a powerful flamethrower. The Flammpanzer had a special tank for liquid incendiary mixture. The mixture was injected through a pipe, creating a stream of fire with a range of several dozen metres. The role of the Flammpanzer was to fight fortifications, destroy buildings and eliminate infantry.
