History.
The Morane-Saulnier MS.406, a remarkable French fighter aircraft designed in 1938, boasted a modern design and exceptional performance. Serving as the backbone of French aviation in 1940, it was a single-seat, low-wing aircraft. Polish pilots also flew these planes as part of the Polish aviation contingent established in France during the same year. Despite Poland's pre-war order for these aircraft, they were unfortunately not delivered on time. The MS.406 was utilised by various military forces, including both the Allied and Axis Powers, with its final usage recorded in 1959 by neutral Switzerland.
