UPDATE: New kits arriving soon, damaged box collection + how to find the best brand for you

We're bringing you a hefty update blog this week! You're going to want to grab a cuppa and find a comfortable seat before reading.

We've had a busy couple of weeks and wanted to catch you up with the latest BrickTanks news, starting with the latest COBI kits to arrive at our warehouse! We took delivery of the standard and executive edition Pershing (already nearly sold out), all three MiGs and two of the new 1:48 scale tanks. We also had a re-stock of the executive edition Yamato and Messerschmitt BF 109 E-2. Check them out below!

Damaged box collection

As the majority of our customers are purveyors of COBI we only send out kits which have pristine, perfect boxes. Due to this we amassed a collection of damaged and creased kits, the bricks and instructions inside are completely undamaged but the boxes are not the standard that we would send to our customers. We've now decided that we will sell these kits at a discounted price, these can be found in the collection below. Make sure to take a look and grab a bargain.

New COBI Pre-orders

COBI sent us their latest product offering to us and includes three new kits. The first being a new version of the Mitsubishi A6M2 'Zero' kit, which was discontinued in 2020. There will also be two new half-track kits which will be released in August and September, one being a Executive Edition kit with a field kitchen!

Although the three brands that we primarily stock are a similar type of product, they do differ significantly. From Buildarmy with their display shelf models, to the RC tanks from CaDA, to COBI's accessible and vast range of kits. There's something for everyone! If you are finding it hard to decide which brand is best for you, check out our blog for a full list of pros and cons for each brand.
