Recent Arrivals
Last week’s shipment landed earlier this week, bringing with it:
- The final tranche of current 1:300 scale submarines
- A new version of the Mirage 2000
- Two new Subaru sets
- The highly anticipated Battle of Monte Cassino figures
Discontinued COBI sets – What does that actually mean?
From time to time, certain COBI sets are retired with limited stock remaining or they sell out completely. We always try to give you a heads-up so you don’t miss out—but occasionally they go faster than expected.
When you see a product marked as “discontinued” on our website, it simply means we can no longer reorder it from COBI but we may still have stock available.
That said, there are a couple of important things to keep in mind:
-
New versions sometimes replace old ones: These might feature updated colour schemes, different scales, or alternative variants. There may be an overlap of versions available or a new version may be produced years after the original model was retired.
-
Occasional comebacks do happen: COBI does occasionally bring retired sets back—and we’ve actually got two examples returning this year (more on that below). But as always, nothing is guaranteed.
- Prices can vary significantly: Newer versions are often more expensive—either due to improved detail or general price increases. Meanwhile, older, discontinued models can become harder to find, and their value often rises as a result.

Old favourites returning soon
We thought we'd seen the last of both of these models but they are back on our price list for later in the summer!
