Celebrating a decade in business
As you may be aware, 2026 marks a major milestone for Brick Tanks—our 10th anniversary. Over the past decade, we’ve not only built a loyal customer base, but we’re also proud to support a number of independent retailers and museum gift shops around the UK.
To celebrate, we’d like to thank these partners and introduce them to our direct customers. As part of this, we’re offering the chance to win tickets to visit some of these fantastic locations.
Our first featured museum is Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome in Essex, who have kindly donated a wonderful day out for two people. And with Father's Day around the corner (21st June), this could also be a popular gift for Dad and/or Grandad.
The prize includes entry for two, a guided tour, and a traditional cream tea, along with a souvenir guidebook to remember your visit by. As an added bonus, you'll also receive a COBI branded hoodie!
Calling all WWI plane enthusiasts!
Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome offers a step back into history, with a site frozen in time for 100 years. It’s the world’s best-preserved aerodrome from World War One, with 24 Grade II* listed buildings from the early days of the Royal Flying Corps – a treasure hidden among the Essex fields.
Discover the bravery of the pilots who battled Zeppelins and German bombers and learn about the technology that revolutionised military aviation and communications. Visit the two large hangars with expert guides who explain the vintage aircraft and tell stories that bring it all alive. And when you need to take a break, relax and enjoy home-made food in the atmospheric surroundings of The Airmen’s Mess café or let off steam on the nature trail and flight simulators. Younger children will love the pedal planes!
An accredited Museum, set in the largest collection of Royal Flying Corps buildings in the world, Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome is normally open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from mid-February to early December, 10am to 4pm. There’s a packed schedule of events throughout the year, including Living History, wildlife days, fly-ins and the chance to see historic aircraft in the air at two major air events.
