History.

The Renault R35, a French light infantry tank, was developed in the mid-1930s to replace the aging FT tank. Entering service in 1936, it featured a 37mm gun and improved armour. The R35 was designed for infantry support, focusing on armour protection over speed. During World War II, it saw action in the Battle of France, but its slow speed and limited armament were drawbacks. Post-armistice, many were used by Axis forces and in various post-war conflicts.

The Valentine IX was a British infantry tank developed during World War II. An evolution of the Valentine series, it featured a more powerful 6-pounder (57 mm) anti-tank gun, improving its combat effectiveness. Produced from 1943, the Valentine IX saw extensive service in the North African and European theaters. Renowned for its reliability and robust armour, it contributed significantly to Allied armoured operations. The Valentine IX exemplified incremental improvements in British tank design during the war.

The Panzer I, Germany's first mass-produced tank, was developed in the early 1930s. Initially intended for training, it saw combat in the Spanish Civil War and early World War II. Despite its light armour and armament of twin machine guns, the Panzer I played a crucial role in Germany's early blitzkrieg tactics. Its design influenced subsequent German tanks, despite being outclassed in later stages of the war. The Panzer I remains a symbol of early German armoured warfare innovation.
