History.
The PZL.37 Łoś ("Moose"), designed by Jerzy Dąbrowski, was an advanced Polish twin-engine medium bomber introduced in the late 1930s. Boasting an innovative all-metal stressed-skin structure, a sleek aerodynamic fuselage, and a modern laminar-flow wing design, it was considered one of the finest bombers in the world prior to World War II.
A standout feature was its exceptional payload capacity; despite its compact size, it could carry up to 2,580 kg of bombs internally. It also featured a unique double-wheel landing gear system engineered for operations from rough, unprepared grass airfields. Though it performed admirably during the 1939 invasion of Poland, only around 120 units were ever built, limiting its strategic impact.
