History.
The Panther, a German medium tank from World War II, remains one of Germany's most recognizable tanks. It entered service in 1943 and faced challenges, due to various failures, during the Battle of Kursk. Eliminating the defects showcased its strengths, as Panthers surpassed Soviet T-34s and American Shermans. With thick armour, advanced construction, high accuracy, and a superior gun (KwK 42 L/70), the Panther became a deadly weapon, commanding respect until the end of the war.
