History.
The Flakpanzer IV "Ostwind" (East Wind) was a German self-propelled anti-aircraft gun introduced late in the Second World War in 1944. Designed as a successor to the Wirbelwind, it mounted a single, powerful 3.7 cm Flak 43 auto-cannon inside an open-topped, hexagonal turret built onto a Panzer IV tank chassis.
