We are feeling the love here at BrickTanks, thanks to all the amazing feedback from our annual survey. Not only is it great to know that our customers are happy with our service, it's extremely helpful to hear about the little things which we can still work on too - so huge thanks.
With that in mind, as the owner of the business, I'd like to respond to some of the more frequent comments and questions raised.

With that in mind, as the owner of the business, I'd like to respond to some of the more frequent comments and questions raised.
We are very much aware of the current economic climate. We're all seeing price increases and BrickTanks and COBI are no different. As a result, I have had to make some changes to the business to ensure that we can survive through these difficult times. We want to offer both good value matched with excellent service within the limits of our website, warehouse, courier services and cashflow.
Paying in full for pre-orders upfront:
This is a restriction of our website's functionality, which we have no control over unfortunately. Placing a pre-order guarantees you will get a set as soon as they arrive in stock and gives us an idea of how many sets to order. But if you’d rather not pay too far in advance and don’t want to miss out, please let us know which pre-order item(s) you are interested in and we can remind you just before we place an order with that item on.
Cheaper shipping options:
We are very much at the mercy of our warehouse and couriers on this front. We do not make any money from postage costs; they are dictated by the couriers and we often incur hidden fuel surcharges for international orders, so it's very hard
for us to charge accordingly as we find out actual costs are often higher a month later, when we get the bill. We are currently waiting for our warehouse's new Parcel Force account to go live which should reduce the cost of shipping to parts of Scotland and N. Ireland which DPD and UPS charge extra for. We're as frustrated
as you with these additional charges, they are not fair. But hopefully Parcel Force will help us to reduce these costs significantly. We will let you know as soon as this service is available, hopefully before the end of March.
Introducing more payment options such as Clearpay:
We looked into using ClearPay last year, but sadly it wasn't achievable with our pre-ordering service. However, I recently noticed that PayPal offers a similar arrangement where you can split payment over three months for eligible customers.
More choice from other manufacturers:
We have tested out a few different brands and are always on the look out for more product ranges – last year we added a new farming and construction, car and military RC range from CaDA and this year will see the introduction of the CaDA London series in time for the coronation.
