LONDON TOY FAIR 2020

Neil and I had a great time up in London at the the Toy Fair this week. We met with a couple of our Cobi colleagues including the owner and chief designer Robert, who we discussed new set ideas with including several of the most popular customer suggestions we've received. We got to see some of the new prototype sets and packaging artwork (see the PRE-ORDERS page for those photos). There is a bit of an 'Afrika Korps' theme going on in case you hadn't noticed!

Robert us about a new scale (1:48 if memory serves!) that COBI is introducing for several sets coming out in the summer including: T34-76, Panzer III, M4 Sherman, Churchill I. The sets are expected to retail at £19.99 each.

We also asked about the Lancaster (as we regularly do!) and were a bit dissappointed to hear that it may not appear until the end of this year or beginning of 2021. Once again, we suggested a Dam Busters version would be *amazing* :) COBI also has a couple of Top Gun sets coming out in time for the new film release in July. 

There will also be a new version of the Bismarck (July) and Warspite (October) and there was some suggestion there might be a Belfast set at some point too! 

So, plenty to look forward to and I'm sure Cobi will have a few more surprises up their sleeves as well - we'll keep you posted. Have a great weekend.
