COBI update + the winner is...
I’ll keep this week’s blog short and sweet.
On Wednesday, we randomly selected the winner of our competition, and I had the pleasure of telling our customer, Gavin D., that he’d won a day out for two at Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome. The prize includes a cream tea, guided tour, souvenir guidebook, and a COBI hoodie. I won’t quote Gavin’s exact reaction, but it was along the lines of: “GET IN!!!” — safe to say he was delighted!
A big thank you to everyone who entered, and better luck next time. Speaking of which, we’ll be announcing another competition in a few weeks, so there’ll soon be another chance to win a different prize.
According to the latest tracking update, our COBI delivery is now expected to arrive on Monday. That means all pre-orders included in this shipment should be dispatched early next week. If you missed it, last week's blog contains the full details of which models are arriving.
Royal Mail ‘Safe Place’
Finally, we’ve recently had a couple of cases where Royal Mail deliveries were left in less-than-helpful locations. If you haven’t specified a ‘Safe Place’, parcels can end up being left almost anywhere the postie considers suitable. Alternatively, you can choose the option to have no Safe Place at all, which should prevent parcels from being left unattended.
Unfortunately, if a parcel goes missing and no Safe Place preference has been registered through the Royal Mail app, it’s very unlikely we’ll receive compensation from Royal Mail.
To help avoid this, please make sure you’ve either set up a Safe Place — or selected the option to have no Safe Place — before placing an order. It helps us hold Royal Mail accountable if something goes wrong.

New COBI sets coming soon
Panzer III update + new product images
If you’re eagerly awaiting this recently released model, here’s a quick update. Unfortunately, it was launched just a few days after our last COBI order had already shipped.
We’re now waiting for the release of the Fairy Swordfish on 15th May before placing our next order, so the Panzer III should still arrive in stock before the end of May.
