History.

The Panzer VI Tiger I 131 is a legendary German heavy tank from World War II. Introduced in 1942, it was renowned for its powerful 88mm KwK 36 gun and formidable armour, which made it nearly invincible in frontal engagements. However, its weight and complex design led to mechanical issues and limited manoeuvrability. Tiger 131 is particularly famous as the only operational Tiger I preserved today, housed at the Tank Museum in Bovington, England. Captured in Tunisia in 1943 by British forces, it was repaired and studied extensively. Its capture marked a significant moment, providing the Allies with valuable insights into German engineering. Restored to working order, it remains a historic symbol of tank warfare and engineering ingenuity.
