History.
The KV-2 (Kliment Voroshilov 2) was a specialized Soviet heavy assault tank introduced in 1940 during the Winter War against Finland. Designed to destroy fortified enemy bunkers and pillboxes, it was built by mounting a massive, boxy turret housing a 152 mm howitzer onto the standard KV-1 heavy tank chassis.
