History.

The Regelbau 667 was a German standardised bunker design developed during World War II as part of the Atlantic Wall fortifications. Designed for a 5 cm KwK (Kampfwagenkanone) anti-tank gun, it was primarily used to defend strategic coastal areas against Allied invasions. The term "Regelbau" refers to "standard construction," as these bunkers adhered to predefined specifications, ensuring efficiency in their construction and functionality. Built with reinforced concrete, Regelbau 667 bunkers featured thick walls to withstand artillery fire and were often camouflaged to blend into the surrounding landscape. Hundreds were constructed along the coasts of France, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Today, many of these bunkers remain as relics of wartime engineering and the defensive strategies of the Third Reich.
