"Yup, another winner..." ~ Mark C
Twin-turret variant of the 7TP (‘7-tonne Polish’) light tank which was the basic weapon of the Polish armed forces during the September campaign of 1939. It was descended from the British Vickers E tank, the license for which Poland bought during the interwar years. Polish improvements to the original included the installation of a diesel engine. 132 were produced between 1935 and the outbreak of the war, by that time (1939) only 24 of the twin-turret variant remained, the other 108 were converted to single-turret operation. The 7TP was armed with the 37 mm Bofors wz.37 gun.
