A variant of the basic half-track armoured personnel carrier used by the German Army in World War II, the 250/3 was a command variant equipped with long-range radio equipment and used as personal command vehicles by officers. This model is an early version with large 'bedframe' antennas, later variants used a whip antenna which was less of a marker for enemy artillery fire.
